Upgradeability

Hi

I have had some bad experiences with premium drupal themes in the past - it was only possible to install the theme as an install profile (couldn't add it to an existing site), the theme made use of mods to modules (which meant that upgrading the module broke the theme) - I would like to confirm that the above is not the case for the themes here? I'm specifically looking at TB Wall

Hi Sifaan,

A Drupal theme is responsible for appearance layer only. All functionality of our theme demo are provided by Drupal core & contributed modules. Upgrading contributed modules which are not compatible will break our themes for sure. In these case, our themes will be updated to compatible with latest version of these contributed modules. However, this only applies for contributed modules which are supported and used for our Drupal theme demos only.

Kind regards,
Will

Hi will

What I'm worried about is
1. Can I install this theme over an existing site (assuming all necessary modules are already installed) or does it have to be a fresh install with a install profile provided by you
2. Have you made any changes to any of the core / contrib modules for the theme to work and/or display correctly?
As far as I can see,the theme itself hasnt been updated in a long time, but presumably users have upgraded to newer version of contrib modules, applied security patches, etc?

In other words, if you only provide files that I copy to the themes folder,I'm happy. If there's stuff to copy to the modules folder I wouldn't be
