TB Methys migration to TB Methys II

I'm working on migrating my site from TB Methys to a new theme that is mobile friendly. TB Methys II works well with mobile. How can i go about testing my content on the TB Methys II theme? Could I download a trial of the TB Methys II theme to test my content to be sure i can make it work? I like the posting workflow of the TB Methys theme, and would rather retain that vs reinventing on another mobile theme.

thank you.

Rob

Hi Rob,

Unfortunately, we don't support to download trial version of TB Methys II. However, TB Methys II is built on top of TB Methys. Therefore, they should be compatible. You could take a look at TB Methys II guideline to know how its demo site structure is built.

Perfect. Thank you for the info. I'm ready to move forward with migrating my site from TB Methys to Methys II. Question: I would like to purchase a triple bundle which would include the TB Methys II theme. Can I mix and match three? or are the bundles set.

Hi Rob,

Could you clarify which is triple bundle? If you purchase "3:5" bundle, you download up to 5 any themes included TB Methys II. With "Your Bundle", you could download any 2 themes. Other bundles have a fixed set of themes.

Kind regards,
Will

Ok. Makes sense. I'm looking into either the "your bundle" for a selection of 3, or the "3:5 bundle" for the selection of 5. Methys II is my main interest, and i have a list of others, but, when testing the Magz, Metroz & Sirate theme demos, they don't seem to pass the mobile tests. Before moving forward with one of the two bundles, i want to be sure i can use all of them well within the mobile environment. Let me know what you think.

thanks.

Hi Rob,

They pass the mobile test. You should take a look at following links:

  1. Mobile-Friendly Test for TB Magz
  2. Mobile-Friendly Test for TB Metroz

You should use the direct link of a demo site for the mobile-friendly test.
Ex: Use the link http://demo.themebrain.com/tb_metroz/ for the test instead of http://demo.themebrain.com/#metroz because the demo site in the second link is loaded inside an iframe with the demo toolbar which is not mobile-friendly.

Kind regards,
Will

Ah. Now that makes sense. Thank you for the info. I'll figure out a package of themes and move forward with one of the bundles.

thanks.
