I am planning to buy TB Methys II for a technology news magazine. Is the theme SEO optimized as it doesn't mention in the details. Also there seems to be no support for user pictures.

Hi there,

Thanks Damian for your comment.
You are right, the old version of Methys II had no SEO Module supported.
However, as this is one of the important module and we think it's necessary for users, we have updated Methys II with Metatags quick module (link: http://drupal.org/project/usage/metatags_quick)

We are going to update the same for other premium themes soon.

For the on page SEO HTML optimization, no tables are used for faster crawling and content indexing. Our mark-up uses semantic correct structure e.g. headlines uses H1, H2, etc. to indicated importance of the headline.
In our demo content we have also alt attributes for the images see http://demo.themebrain.com/tb_methys_ii/article/celebrity-look-stylish-h... in order to describe what the image is about thus search engines can relate the image to the content. There are some small improvements required which we will do! We will consider that!

About Rich Snippets (Microdata) we did not implement it yet. We believe it should be a part of the base theme (Nucleus) and not the sub theme to give the optimized HTML output.

Cheers,

In TB MethyII's profile installation there are no SEO modules included, but you can install a SEO Checklist module and it will show you what you still need to install to have fully 'SEO Ready' website ;)

With user picture is true, they forgot to add it to node template file, there is only support for pictures in comments.
But you can very easy add the following code to your node.tpl.php file:

<?php print $user_picture; ?>

Thanks. That answers my question and I will be placing the order soon.

One last query, is there any discount if I want to use the same theme on more than one property (2) -- by the same site owner? We have Open Source news website and are branching off Android coverage and we want both sites to look same,

Hi arnieswap,

Hi arnieswap,

Please check your email, I believe you have received an email from us with the coupon code ;)

Hi,

Hi,

Thanks. I bought the theme and started implementing. However, I notice an issue. I have 2-3 content types: Articles (and not article), News, Product, Profile [machine names: articles, news, products, profiles]

Now, as you can see on the home page the layout of Articles is different from News. [IMG 1]

In the story pages you can notice that in news page we can see submission date (in pink circle), but it is missing in Articles page. [IMG 2]

I noticed in the theme css folder there is an article.css file do you need css file for each content type? If not how do we fix it for all content types?

Also due to thus when we visit the site on mobile devices, smartphons or tablets and open the node there is 80px left margin created by submit date which should collapse as happens in demos.

How to fix this issue?
