Switch from 24 to 16 column grid on University Theme question

Hi, when I switched to Switch from 24 to 16 column grid on the University theme I lost Panel Fourth column 3. It basically turned into 2 column instead of three. Where in the code can I update to make it a three-column row again?

Also, is there an easy way to increase the gutter sizes for the entire grid? I would like to keep a grid layout but the overall design to too crowded, would like more white space.

Thanks, love the theme and instructions provided.

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Due to default settings of TB University theme which has grid 24 columns, each Panel Fourth column has an equal width as 8 columns. Therefore, when you change grid setting for your theme to 16 columns, there are only enough space for two column of Panel Fourth and the others will be hidden. To make them visible again, you could go to TB University settings > Layout > Hidden regions & blocks > set an appropriate width for all Panel Fourth columns including hidden ones. Total width of all Panel Fourth columns should equal or less than the total columns supported by your current grid system (ie. 16 columns). Moreover, you could change page width for your theme grid at TB University settings. Grid system feature is provided by Nucleus base theme. I recommend you take a look at Nucleus guideto know how to change grid settings as well as other layout settings.

Thanks Will, that was very helpful. There's a lot of good functionality built into this theme, thanks for pointing me to it.
