Superfish Drop Down Bug

After following your Menu setup at http://themebrain.com/guide/how-build-tb-nex/menu-bar-region, menu items will not drop down when hovering over the parent item.

I find, however, that if I enable multiple Superfish blocks in the Menu Bar region, all with the same setup, they appear under the initial non-working menu and their drop-downs function correctly. Whenever I reduce the number of Superfish blocks to one (doesn’t matter which one), the remaining menu does not work.

I also notice that, on the non-working Superfish block, there is a downwards arrow next to the text, whereas in the working block(s) shown below it (in the case of multiple enabled blocks), there is no downwards arrow.

In the attached screenshots: The first, I am hovering over "columns" and no drop down shows.
The second: I have enabled another superfish menu in the Menu Bar region with exact same settings as first screenshot. Dropdowns work for Superfish 2 but not Superfish 1.

Hi Sarah,

Could you provide your site URL and an admin account to access your site? I need to take a deep look at it. Please send your private data to help@themebrain.com

Kind regards,
Will

Hi Sarah,

I have checked your site. The root cause is incompatible jQuery version. jQuery library on your site has been upgraded to v1.10 via jQuery Update. This version is not compatible with many contributed modules and TB themes at the moment. Please disable jQuery Update or downgrade it to jQuery v1.5. Here are instructions to downgrade the library:

  1. Log in your site as an admin
  2. Go to Configuration > Development > Find and configure jQuery Update
  3. At "Default jQuery Version", select v1.5
  4. Save configuration

Moreover, this incompatible issue with TB themes will be fixed in future versions.
Kind regards,
Will
