sidebar default sizes and transparency

I currently have my sidebar size set up as double grid, but when the site renders it starts as single grid and then goes to double. Is there a way for the site to start rendering the page with the sidebar as a double grid?

Also, is there a way to make the sidebar block transparent?

Here's and example page: http://thepoliticus.com/content/exit-jail-do-not-collect-ballot-kentucky...

Hi Dammand,

There is a workaround for the rendering issue. Below are instructions:

  1. Open the following file located at sites/all/themes/tb_wall/css/layout.css
  2. Replace below lines of code which are located at the end of the file:

    .block.grid-single { width: 250px; float: left; }

    .block.grid-double { width: 500px; float: left; }

    .block.triple-double { width: 750px; float: left; }

    .sidebar .block { width: 250px; float: left; max-width: 100%; }

    with following code:

    .sidebar .block { width: 250px; float: left; max-width: 100%; }

    .block.grid-single { width: 250px; float: left; }

    .block.grid-double { width: 500px; float: left; }

    .block.triple-double { width: 750px; float: left; }

  3. Save the file

Regarding the sidebar block transparent request, TB Wall theme does not support it. You have to modify the theme and add your own code achieve it.

Kind regards,
Will
