Step 1 Go to Structure> Views. Click "Add new view" link. Create "Latest News" view following properties:

Step 2 Click "Continue and edit" button. New window is opened with following properties:

Step 3 In Format area click "setting" link and set following properties:

Step 4 In Field area click "Add" link. Add "Content: Image" field with following properties:

Step 5 In Field area click "Add" link. Add "Content: Post date" field with following properties:

Step 6 In FILTER CRITERIA area click "Add" link. Add "Content: Type (= Article)" field with following properties:

Step 7 Click "Save " button.

Step 8 Go to Blocks. Find "View: Latest News" block and assign it to "Panel footer column 1" region.
