Premium Themes Updated to Drupal 7.17

26Nov 2012

We have updated all our premium Drupal themes to the latest Drupal version 7.17.
The maintenance release of Drupal 7.17 comes with several bug fixes and minor feature and API improvements. All the details you can find in the release note. We have also upgraded all supported 3rd party modules.

TB Methys II improvements

According to some user's questions and reports the slideshow had an issue when it comes to slow page loading due to slow internet or a lot of requests (images, css files, js files etc.). This caused the slideshow to appear broken in the first few seconds when the page is loading. It does not look nice and can be confusing. This issue has been fixed. In addition, we have fixed also the jCarousel issue

How to upgrade to the latest version?

  1. For users who just bought our premium themes, you can download the latest installation profile and follow the usual Drupal installation procedure and pick our profile.
  2. For users who already bought our premium themes and run them on live production site. Please upgrade the Drupal core according to Drupal's upgrade guidelines
  3. Upgrade TB Methys II slideshow. If you want to apply this update, download the installation profile (request new download link in the email you have received after successfully purchased the theme), extract the zip files and copy only the TB Methys II theme folder. Clear the Drupal cache and the slideshow should run with the latest improvements.

For all our free themes. The update to the latest Drupal version is not in plan as Drupal 7.17 is a minor release. If you want to apply the latest version just upgrade it as mentioned in 2.) and follow the Drupal upgrade guideline. As soon there is a major new release of Drupal 7.x we will consider to upgrade our free Drupal themes, too.
